  • Canadian Certification of DSC (Dynamically Stable Craft) Hydrofoils. Certified DSC operator.

  • Mobile certified welding and fabrication in steel and alloy metals to regulatory specification.

  • Standard marine or custom designed electronics for shipboard use. PC systems, electronic navigation software, electronic charts and tide software, which may be interfaced with GPS, sounder, gyro, autopilot and any other navigational devices which are NMEA 0183 compatible.
  • QUICK & SIMPLE
Digital Control System controllers using microprocessor-based technology to provide engine control, protection, and monitoring in a single unit. These controllers allow for quick and simple operation from the front panel. This allows for user configurable inputs and/or outputs without programming knowledge. The four lines by twenty character LCD display with backlighting, allows the display to be viewed under any ambient light condition.

    FEATURES

    PROGRAMMABLE INPUTS
  • 2 Thermocouple sensor inputs calibrated for zero to 250 degrees Celsius.
  • 8RTD resistive type temperature inputs calibrated for 100ohm platinum sensors reading from –25 to 230 degrees Celsius.
  • 8 Resistive type pressure sensor inputs calibrated for VDO 360-004 zero to 150 PSI.
  • 14 Digital inputs individualy programmable as normally open or closed contacts.
  • Engine RPM input programmable from 1 to 300 pulses per revolution with an effective range from 40 to 10000 pulses per second, and an input range of 2 - 15 volts.

All programmable inputs feature 4 levels of alarm prioritization. Start delays from zero to 255 seconds. Transient delays from zero to 255 seconds.

Analog inputs are programmed for high and low limits as well as high and low pre-alarm levels. Configuration, including calibration and testing, is easy with interactive and explanatory menus.

Inputs may also be programmed to not display their status when they are within tolerances, so that the operator is subjected to as little superfluous information as possible.

    ENGINE CONTROLS
  • Programmable startup sequence with cranking time, rest time and number of tries.
  • Engine manual start.
  • Engine remote start.
  • Engine remote shutdown.ngine emergency shutdown.
  • Engine shutdown, programmable through temperature or pressure input sensors and loss of RPM input.

    DIGITAL OUTPUTS
  • Horn relay – activates a loud horn or siren when an alarm condition occurs. The horn is silenced with the Silence key.
  • PLC relay - closed during engine operation. Opens when the engine stops running for any reason.
  • Emergency Stop relay – closed when emergency stop switch is closed.
  • Shutdown relay – engages when an alarm shutdown condition occurs.
  • Alarm relay – engaged when an alarm condition occurs. It is cleared when the unit is silenced and the alarm condition is rectified.
  • Stop relay – closes to stop the engine, accomplished by pressing and holding the Stop key for four seconds.
  • Crank relay - engaged to crank the engine. The number of seconds it is held on is user programmable. The number of times the controller will try cranking the engine and the rest time between cranks is also user programmable.
  • Run relay - engaged when the controller receives a start command. Relay opens when the controller receives a stop command or if the engine fails.

    INDICATOR LIGHTS
  • Controller Ok.
  • Engine running.
  • Engine cooldown.
  • Cranking.
  • Auto mode.
  • Warning.
  • Alarm.
  • Shutdown.
  • Emergency stop.

    ADDITIONAL FEATURES
  • Battery voltage reading with 1 percent accuracy.
  • Operation, 10 to 32 volts. Except operating relays.
  • Password protected.
  • Cooldown period from zero to 500 seconds.
